Availability of Uig Services – Summer 2021
Non-essential travel to and from the islands is now permitted, however, please note that the Scottish Government is encouraging all visitors to the islands to take two Covid-19 lateral flow tests before they travel. The first three days before travel and the second on the day of departure. You can order a free home test kit online here. Note: select 'yes' when the site asks if you were asked to get tested by a local authority or by an NHS Public Health team.
Accommodation, cafes and restaurants will be open in the area, however, will be operating under the restrictions relating to group size, social distancing and general hospitality regulations.
We urge you to follow the Scottish Government guidelines. By following these guidelines you are playing your part in keeping the Uig Community safe.
